Assalam aliakum & peace to all
Well the day has come and gone, mashallah it was a nice day all in all! I didn't end up taking off work but that's ok as DH had to work too so we couldn't have enjoyed the day together anyway. At night we met up with another couple and went out to eat. We found this nice Arabic type of restaurant that served great food and wonderful desserts - we ate way too much but as was said more than once around the table "it's Eid - only one day" We spent a good two hours there and then parted ways, with stomachs full and iman re-fuled for another year... we continue on this journey of life!
