Not really an entry but an update on how I made out
with my latest cooking adventures!
The first one is the lamb soup with lentils - this is before its cooking
afterwards it was a very dark muddy soup (because I zapped it
with the hand held mixer) but it tasted yummy!

The next one is the stuffed potato skins
I baked the potatoes in their skins
for about an hour then I split them and scooped out
the centers. I mashed that up with some yogurt
roasted peppers and cheese (cheddar) and re-filled
the skins again. Put them under the broiler just
until they turned a nice golden brown. Served them with a
green salad with some feta cheese crumbs
This was the best creation so far. Thanks to a great recipe
they are chocolate filled brioche. The smell in the
house as they were baking and finally came out
of the oven was amazing! Hubby and I had a
very nice suhur this morning and I am looking forward
in sampling more of them tonight!
So that's a few of my creations (well the ones I took picutres of!)
Right now I have eggplant roasting in the oven, I'll make a dip of it to serve
with bread - I'll post more pics of interesting foods I'm making!

choc brioche looks yum:)
belated Ramadhan Mubarak
That brioche looks fantastic! Yummy! Quite like the look of that lamb soup too, think i'll cook up a version of my own.... if i can be bothered. Or you could just give me the recipe? lol
Thank you both :)
The soup recipe is really simple - just add in all the veggies you like (carrots, onions, potatoes, cellery, etc) I left them all whole add in lentils (I added red and green) I had a left over cooked lamb shoulder that I added as well and enough water to cover oh and some crushed tomato (you can use fresh tomatoes too) spices and let it cook until all the veggies were soft - then I took out the lamb and zapped the soup until it became thick added some more water and that's it! When serving I added back the pieces of lamb :)
